Fr. Michael writes: The Feast of Christ our King which we celebrate today, brings to an end the liturgical year. Next weekend we begin the Season of Advent in preparation for Christmas. When we think of a King we think of someone who lords it over people. But Christ is not like that. Christ is the one who lives among us, and came not to rule but to serve. He gave himself totally while he lived on earth. Even as he died he was still giving to those around him. Today he needs us to serve. He has no hands but ours, no feet but ours, not our own, that we are called upon to dispense, his love, his forgiveness, his mercy, his good news…..Christ the King A
