Fr. Michael writes: “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us”. In this world we will never understand fully the tremendous mystery and significance of these words, which we celebrate at Christmas. God has come among us, to heal us, to teach us, to save us, to be a presence alongside us. Because of that first Christmas in Bethlehem, the world will never be the same again. The extent to which our lives are changed by Christmas will depend upon whether we allow this new-born Child into our lives, to transform us, to mould us, to love us. The choice is ours. As we kneel before the crib, as we receive Him in Holy Communion, let us ask for the graces we need to make our lives more Christ like.
May God bless you and your families this Christmas and always.Christmas Day
