Fr. Michael writes:   “Repent and believe the Good News”. Lent has begun. It is a serious time, a penitential season – but it doesn’t have to be gloomy.  We have Lent to draw closer to God, and there is nothing miserable about that.  Have we decided what we’re going to do for Lent this year?  It’s not too late.  It may help to write down our resolutions.  If we break them, we need not give up but start afresh.  Whatever happens let us make sure we are in good shape to greet the Risen Lord at Easter.
